Core Values:
My work is personable, natural and elegant. I put a little piece of myself into every project I take on and with that, I strive to remain approachable. Accompanying my work is a very neutral color palette as to not distract from the photographs and other art work. Whether it's portraits or landscapes, my style of photographing remains the same. Making the ordinary seem elegant and lending a hand to the homemade esthetic is seen throughout.

Being in a foreign country, I became a quiet person, but that's to what I am. In my deepest mind, where I still aspire for a positive life, I am willing to take the challenge on multicultural whatever lifestyle or art career. So my core values can be considered as ambition, aspiration and challenge. The ambition is to open a new world in the way of my future. The aspiration is to show my enthusiastic about learning different cultures. The challenge is to combine different things and convert the disadvantages into advantages.

My core values consist of Innovation, Integrity, and Tenacity. The innovation to be on the lookout for a new method or idea as well as a willingness to transform if necessary. The integrity to be honest with myself, and in turn create work that people (customers and peers) will like. My persistence to examine the world and people around me forms a tenacity that can be something that hopefully will set me apart.

When thinking about my work and what it portrays, I see it showing lots of color, diversity, liveliness, and a level of sophistication. Colorful is when there is a plethora of colors that harmonize well together. Diverse means that piece that is created is different and appears to have its own sense of personality. Lively is an enerygy given pf by the work, as well as, a sense of motion. Sophisticated is the complex or intricate nature of the process. Another thing that is such a big part of myself that it affects my designs and the way I design is the fact that I try really hard to be well rounded and right for everyone and although its not actually possible it still is what I strive for.

Accessible - inviting to all, conversation starting
Honest - avoiding fluff or filler content at all cost
Philanthropic - Social justice minded, everyone deserves good design.

Work display, specifically app display, needs work.
I an not pleased with my personal branding at this point. Cat has said your text and graphic logos don't have to coexist, but I really want them to and have struggled since freshman year to find the right one. As it stands now.

The tenets of my brand are being friendly, fun, unique, and beautiful.
I want to have an approachable feel to my website and brand that people feel comfortable viewing it or reaching out to me. I never wanted a corporate look and I love negative space, so using minimal colors, deep gray sans-serif, semi-rounded type and rounded photo corners, I feel I have created a soft environment that is also beautiful and well-crafted.
My business cards were printed vertical because I always enjoyed vertical cards. They seem more unique and fun to me, not to mention more fun to design. I also continued the theme of rounded corners for them, as it softens the geometric shapes within my colorful brand design, and creates a more approachable feel overall.
My leave-behinds are circular pins with my mantra "Create. Design. Live." This is, in essence, what I do every day of my life. I am always creating, I am always designing, and in return it breathes life into me and gives me purpose. I wanted to share this with everyone, as well as carry over my branded geometric design and colors. I do want to redesign these in the near future.
My resume/CV was a challenge, as adding the multiple colored bar at the bottom seemed out of place. I do want to add a section that gauges my skills as opposed to just listing them, as well as updating my experience and my overall look. When I print them professionally, I will consider adding a rounded corner (or four).

Core Values: Heather Lee
As a working designer I think of myself as organized, energetic, and current.
By organized I mean, in my work I strive to have the utmost of organization. I aim to find structure in the vast network that the 21st century is.
By energetic I mean, that my work is effective. That my work is powerful and can hold meaning not only to a consumer or viewer, but also to the client.
By current I mean, I work to stay up to date on the not only the latest work in my field and trends, but I also try to stay on top of new technological advances that are related to my field.
A current selection of my work can be found on my Behance. This work is a selection over the past two to three years and is kept up to date with my work and a copy of my resume.
With my personal branding I wanted to keep the design clean and simple. While I wish to convey a sense of energy I would rather do it with the work I showcase, and not have it overshadowed by my own branding.

Core Values: Michaela Cannon (Misa)
I have an interesting personality and wanted to bring that into my designs. Most of the things I create are bright, colorful, and fun, yet simple, stylized, and minimalistic. I use contrast, patterns, and colors to make my work stand out. Many of my designs follow the term, unconventional, and follow no rules but my own.
I am currently undergoing decision making for creating a portfolio website. As of right now, I have only my FaceBook page Foxtail Designs: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Foxtail-Designs/1551818798372053?pnref=lhc
My logos and business names are finalized, but other designs have wiggle-room for improvement and expansion.

Defining Core Values: Personal Branding
Brand core values are a helpful tool for articulating the culture – the intangible stuff of a company, service, campaign, or person. The anatomy of core values typically includes a descriptive word or phrase to identify the value and a description to define the value in detail. Some companies identify 3-4 values to describe their brand culture. Others identify many. You should include as few or as many as necessary to describe your personal brand culture. However, it is important that the combination of your core values paints a clear picture of you and the perception of you that you wish to convey.
Finalize your core value terms and definitions. Post them to the blog. Include a link to your portfolio page. Include an overview spread of your personal branding.
