Lowe Alpine is an outdoor equipment company that started in 1967 all because Greg Lowe needed a better backpack. He designed the first backpack with an internal frame, as well as many other design aspects that are now standard on most back country packs. This company designs everything that a hiker will need from the backpacks to ice picks to belay systems. The overall look and feel of Lowe Alpine is rugged and clean, but still supports functionality of the gear they offer. I found the website to be inviting and exciting, but was drawn to it by the simplicity of the logo.
